Zucchini, Canteloupe, Lemonbalm,

and Watermelon.
Started 4 zucchini from seed,
only 1 survived, but its strong.
Harvested one last week
and it was about 18 inches long.
All organic, no pesticides,
no chemical fertilizers were used.
The canteloupe are about
4 and 1/2 inches in diameter.
They are sweet and early hybrids.
The all sweet watermelons got
started a little late, just now starting to
form little fruit.

Here, the marigolds are looking good,
the cucumbers have taken over from
the nearby 4x8 box, and are going
crazy... the 5 finger leaves are squash.

Nice harvest there!
I love cucumbers . . . nature's anti-inflamatory
We have a restaurant nearby that has the bestest tasting cucumber salad I've tasted; love the stuff.
I'm (trying to) growing guavas from seed. I planted a messload of them, and a bunch (not all) took; about 6 are 6-7 inches tall now. Some time soon I'll put them in the ground and watch them shoot up.
@AcidSam - Awesome ive heard of boiling guava seeds for a minute or two to get them starting to germinate.... do you have a spot already for them? id put a few in pots and a few in the ground, and see which does better. send me some pics of them!
are you getting flooded there from fay? i live in arkansas, and weve been getting loads of rain from the ts pushing the moisture over here.
i've never seen a baby watermelon before. i thought they, you know, just started big.
anyway, thanks for subscribing!
I remember the days I use to garden. I couldn't wait to have fresh veggies. But I am too busy these days to keep up with it. Seeing your pics makes me miss it even more.
Enjoy!!
